About this painting
 
This piece was created to pay tribute to all the beautiful koalas and native Australian wildlife lost in the Black Summer Bushfires. In 2019 - 2020 60,000 Koalas were killed, injured or lost in the terrible fires. I decided to create this artwork and continue with this series to show the power of "Rebirth" and the renewal of life after the storm.
